Any good alternative replacement for Windows Movie maker, since it was discontinued? VirtualDub just cuts raw scenes, but can't make slide shows, simple effects, vfx animations.

i don't know if you want something that feels like movie maker or just another editor. but if we're just going on video editors alone i like kden live. i'd only used movie maker before using it and found it to be an easy switch. it's open source and free, too.

What's the issue with using the old movie maker? It's not like you can't use just because it's discontinued.

kdenlive is pretty much just windows movie maker but free and open source
